Apply for a Card

Library cards generally are available to residents of Canton, or those who work in the township. Note: Families who are not Canton residents but wish to have full access to services and materials of the Canton Public Library are able to purchase an annual membership for $170 per family.  This is the equivalent of the annual taxes paid by the average Canton taxpayer to support the library.

Every three years on your birthday — one year for non-resident cards — we renew your library card and update your contact information, ensuring that you receive messages regarding your account.

For eligibility information or to apply now, see our Library Card Application.
