Read on my eReader

I read a book to earn this badge:
Pride, Prejudice and Cheese Grits
I'm a Jane Austen Geek, so I bought this ebook for $1 to read on my vacation.  It takes many of the plot points from Jane Austen's classic and translates them to modern day academia in the deep south.  An easy, amusing read for the beach.

Planted daylilies that needed a home

And got it done before the thunderstorm!

Watched "HOUDINI" last night.

My husband and I watched the 1953 version of "Houdini' with Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh last night. Romantic and beautifully filmed but as always sad at the end.

I Love-love-love!!! angel hair pasta!

Last night for dinner I made a simple recipe for a quick side dish.  Angel hair pasta, monterey jack/parmesean cheeses, pepper, butter, sprinkle of nutmeg and a little bit of milk.  It was delicious and my husband loved it!!!

Wash-a-Bye Bear

I read a book to earn this badge:
Wash-a-Bye Bear

Wash-a-bye bear by Thomas Docherty — This is a story about a little girl's teddy bear who must get washed. Apart from the kinda scary part where the teddy bear gets puts in a washing machine (boy I am glad I don't fit in those!) this is a wonderful story about a little girl's love for her bear, and her bear's love for her.
