Ancestry Remote Access Ended 12/31/21

As of December 31, 2021, Ancestry Library Edition will no longer be available remotely. ProQuest, the parent company of Ancestry Library Edition, graciously allowed remote access during the COVID-19 pandemic to allow patrons to use this resource from home.

Ancestry Library Edition is still available as a resource for use within the library, and will have all the same features you are used to. The Canton Public Library has over 90 public computers available for you to use, or you can access Ancestry Library Edition on your personal device when you are connected to our Wi-Fi

If you would like to continue your genealogical research remotely, you can check out MyHeritage Library Edition, opens a new window (CPL card required, opens a new window), or one of a number of resources listed in these Trace Your Family Tree tips, opens a new window.
