Family is Family

Adoption and foster care are all around us.

6% of all children in the United States will find themselves in the foster care system before their 18th birthday. More than 60% of foster children spend two to five years in the foster care system before being adopted. Around 135,000 children are adopted into families in the U.S. each year, and approximately 2.6 million grandparents in the United States are currently raising their grandchildren.
