What do you like the most about working at CPL?
"Getting to work with some of the most caring and inspiring people I’ve ever met. I also grew up frequenting CPL as a child and made many friendships that way, so being able to help foster the same environment for today’s patrons feels very rewarding and 'full circle.'"
My main duties at the library include:
- "My main role is supervising CPL’s pages, who are the experts in the day-to-day handling of all library materials. From making sure items are checked in and shelved correctly to repairing books and giving them a second life, the pages are wonderful at keeping our library items organized and accessible."
- "Another one of my tasks is assisting with the general shelving needs of CPL by making sure collections can fit within their ideal locations. This can involve a lot of measuring, adjusting, shifting, and swapping out shelves and materials by staff. Working in a library can be far more physical than you’d expect—books are heavy!"
- "I also help compile circulation statistics for different reports and help coordinate donations of withdrawn material to organizations."

- Books: The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch and The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden.
- Movies: Amelie, Dazed and Confused, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Royal Tenenbaums and Howl's Moving Castle.
- TV Shows: Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Knick and Over the Garden Wall.
Fun Facts
What are your hobbies or interests? Reading, drawing, gardening, walking in the woods, and visiting museums.
What would your dream birthday be like? Having a slow day in a cozy lakeside town in the mountains.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be? The ability to mentally grow and manipulate all types of plants.
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up? An adventuring archaeologist. I was obsessed with movies like Atlantis: The Lost Empire, The Mummy and National Treasure.
If you could time-travel, what period would you go to? Pre-colonial Philippines or Renaissance Italy, but only if I can bring antibiotics.
