Summary
The Muppet Christmas Carol is a musical comedy adaptation of the classic holiday tale. Miser Ebenezer Scrooge learns the true meaning of Christmas and reforms his heartless and money-grubbing ways after being visited on Christmas Eve by four ghosts. Even better: this one has Muppets.
She recommends it because...
“One of my all-time favorite Christmas movies is The Muppet Christmas Carol,” says Dolores. “It is a whimsical adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic. You often forget you are actually watching puppets and animations as the story draws you in. The songs are also such a delight; you will find yourself singing along. It is both entertaining and fun, yet the heart of the story rings through, true and strong. Even my husband enjoys this version! A wonderful and timeless classic piece.”
Who might enjoy it?
This movie brings a hit of nostalgia for parents and grandparents, as well as a dose of holiday cheer for any fan of Christmas movies. “Whether you grew up with the Muppets or have children, this movie is great for all ages and is rewatchable enough to make it a holiday tradition,” Dolores says.
