The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor is currently hosting an exhibit: A History of the Bible from Ancient Papyri to King James at the Hatcher Graduate Library/Audubon Room/First Floor. The exhibit contains ancient Egyptian manuscripts on papyrus, Medieval manuscripts, and printed books. Follow a path of documents that lead to the creation of the 1611 King James Version of the Bible.Audubon Room Hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-7:00PM, Sat 10:00AM-6:00PM, Sun 1:00-7:00PM

Art with Byron Reed

On Saturday, January 16, Canton artist Byron Reed celebrated diversity and his love of art with our patrons. Children were able to create their own art that will be on display at the Village Theater tonight as Canton celebrates Martin Luther King Jr.The Canton community Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day celebration is the result of a continued partnership between the Canton Public Library, Canton Township, the Partnership for the Arts and Humanities, Inc. and the Friends of the Canton Public Library. The event, at the Village Theater, is free to the public with refreshments at 5:30PM and program at 6:00PM.
Strategies of Success Seminar Series January

Storytime Registration
Storytimes are starting the week of January 11! Online registration for everyone begins December 28, at 9:00AM. All children must have their own library card to register. We have storytimes for various ages: 4 months - not yet walking, Walking - not yet 2 years old, 2 - not yet 4 year olds and 4 - 5 year olds.
