Start with a site you trust

where someone has selected the links especially for kids:
  1. Canton Public Library Kids Pages
  2. Internet Public Library

Ask yourself the following questions

  1. Can you tell who the author is?
  2. Can you find out more about the organization/author?
  3. Does the site tell you how to contact the author?
  4. Does the site have any official approval?
  1. Are there any errors on the page?
  2. Does the author give their information sources?
  3. Is the page well organized and complete? (Not "under construction")
  4. Is the topic fully covered?
  1. Does this person/group have something to gain by making you believe one way about an issue?
  2. Is this person/group trying to sell you something?

  • All kids MUST have their own library card and have it registered with Canton Public Library's system to register for any Children's or Tween program.
  • Registration begins two weeks prior to the program.
  • No phone registration will be accepted.  
  • Add your email address to your child's library card to get storytime and other programming updates.
