What do you like the most about working at CPL?
“In all sincerity, our staff. Everyone goes above and beyond to help each other. No big ‘I’s’ or little ‘You’s. They are the best, bar none, which makes for a great work environment.”
My main duties at the library include:
- Processing interlibrary loans.
- Assisting patrons at the Check Out Desk.
- Preparing materials for delivery and creating displays.

What are your hobbies or interests? Decorating, antique bric-a-brac shopping and watching classic movies.
Favorite antique you’ve found? Vintage spaghetti poodle statues.
What would your dream birthday be like? Dinner at the Les Grands Buffet in Narbonne, France with my family, both those who have passed and those present.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be? Healing.
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up? Nurse.
If you could time-travel, what period would you go to? Biblical times.
What is one of your fondest memories? My dad grabbing a bucket of KFC and taking us girls for a drive through Belle Isle at night to see the James Scott Memorial fountain light up with colors.
