Canton Township will be hosting their annual Household Hazardous Waste Round-up on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Public Works facility located at 4847 Sheldon Road just south of Michigan Avenue. The collection is open to Canton residents only and will be accepting waste that is considered toxic, flammable, or corrosive. Canton Clean-up recycling is held at the GFL facility located at 42100 Van Born Rd. All recycling can be brought to the facility on specific Clean-up dates throughout the year. Please call GFL Environmental USA Inc. at 844-464-3587 for more information, as dates are subject to change. This fall, Canton Clean-up will be held on September 24, 2022 and October 15, 2022 from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. Visit Canton Clean-up's website for the full list of acceptable and unacceptable items.
Canton's automated recycling is also available to residents. A full list of acceptable and unacceptable items can be found on their website. Individuals who do not get automatic pickups can bring recyclables on Canton Clean-up dates to the GFL facility on Van Born Rd.
