Family Movie Camp Out
Canton Leisure Services has arranged a program called Family Movie Camp Out for Friday, July 11, 2025, from 5:00-11:00 PM.
Families are invited to set up tents in Independence Park to enjoy the family-friendly film The Wild Robot under the stars starting at dusk. There will be plenty to do before the movie, including games, activities and entertainment for the entire family beginning at 6:00 PM.
Registration begins online on June 11, 2025. The fee for overnight camping is $25 for residents and $32 for non-residents. If you plan to come out to the event but are not camping out, a wristband will be available: $10 for residents or $11 for non-residents, cash only, available exclusively on-site.
Tent setup begins at 5:00 PM that evening; tents and RVs are welcome. Please note that RVs will not have electrical or water hookups available. Dinner and concession items will be sold, and airbrush tattoos will be available for an additional fee.
Pets must be leashed at all times, per Canton Township Ordinance. Small propane grills may be used but must be attended by an adult at all times. Fire pits or other fires are not permitted.
