What is it?
Summer is a time for fun. Every year, we make sure your summer is packed with activities, programs and more during our 62 Days of Summer program. We’ll have events planned for everyone of all ages and some of the unexpected things we have in store will awe you. For an in-depth look at what you can expect, check out our Summer page.
When is it?
Mark your calendars! 62 Days of Summer starts on June 19, 2023 and ends on August 19, 2023.
- Kickoff for 62 Days of Summer starts Monday, June 19, 2023.
- A halfway celebration will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.
- Our final party is on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
Our 62 Days of Summer
Programs will take place throughout the summer. For more information, visit our Program page, but don’t forget to visit the library to participate in our on-site activities.
Where is it?
Everywhere! The majority of our activities and programs will be here in the library. Some programming and activities will take place virtually on Zoom and online, and others will be a part of our outreach and take place offsite. No matter where you are, we will have something for you.
How to Participate?
Participating is easy and you can do so in a variety of ways. You can, of course, read. But you can also attend programs or try out an activity. The pom poms are again making a return. You’ll be able to get them by reading or using one of the library’s various resources, attending programs, or participating in an activity. There will be other fun and surprising ways to earn them as well.
Who Can Participate?
Everyone. Our program is designed to be far reaching to draw interest from everyone around. To that end, you do not need to register for 62 Days of Summer. In fact, you don’t even need to be a CPL cardholder! However, some individual programs will require registration, so be on the lookout for those when our monthly e-newsletter is released.
The 62 Days of Summer e-newsletter will be released on Monday, June 5, 2023. It will include most of the wonderful things we have planned. For any additional pop-up or spontaneous activities, visit our Program page and Summer page.
