In this messy adventure, you are a shark out to find the fishermen who killed your mother. Eat up and grow big so you can get strong to enact your revenge. They’re gonna need a bigger boat.

If you loved Super Mario 3D World and enjoyed playing as a cat, we have the game for you. Though Bowser’s Fury isn’t the main feature in this set, it’s short, fun, and cat-themed.

Dinosaurs roam free, and now they need you to build a new park to contain them. Part Rollercoaster Tycoon, part Pokémon.

7. Little Nightmares (Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch)
A suspense-adventure game in which you are a young boy trapped in a world that has been distorted by the humming transmission of a distant tower. You set out to save your friend and solve the mystery of the Signal Tower.
8. Rocket League (Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch)
Rocket League looks like a racing game, but it’s more like soccer. Instead of feet, you direct the ball with rocket-boosted vehicles in an arena where you can drive up the sides of the walls. It’s pretty fantastic.

Two games in one! Inside and Limbo are both puzzle games driven by dark mysteries, and each could be completed in an afternoon.
