Shared Experiences from 2012
series make it a treat to watch.
McGulpin Rock (west of Mackinaw City, on the shore of Lake Michigan) is 5 times the size of the Pilgrim's Plymouth Rock and dates 5 years before the Pilgrims even arrived on the Mayflower... but it doesn't get as much publicity! Native tribes used this huge rock to guage the rise and fall of the Great Lakes. It is 9 feet tall and weighs an estimated 54 tons We walked right up to this really big, old rock and took pictures.
When me and my family were at the beach we went looking for cool rocks and seashells. Some kids even joined us for the fun of it! In the end, we got some pretty cool rocks and some really tiny seashells. But we still had a really fun time!
