2. Read an Outdoorsy Book

June is Great Outdoors Month. This annual observance started in the United States in 1998 to help people remember how fun it is to explore nature. You don’t have to go far—adventure can begin right outside your door. These picture books will inspire you to get outside and go exploring.

3. Activity: Heritage Park Story Trail

Take a walk in Heritage Park and follow the story trail. Once you complete it, you’ll have walked a half mile in the great outdoors!

4. Sing a Goodbye Song
