CPL Staff Spotlight: Lindsey

Meet Lindsey, Experiences Librarian 

What do you like the most about working at CPL? "I grew up in the Canton area and at the Canton Public Library, and now I get to create and present amazing experiences to the community."

What are your main duties at the library? "Teen Leadership Council, storytimes, a wide variety of programming including Crafted and tween sports programming during the summer."

Fun Facts

What would your dream birthday be like? "Very relaxed, very simple, spending time with friends and family at the zoo, going for a walk, playing games, and eating takeout."

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up? "Zookeeper"

What are your hobbies or interests? "Counted cross stitch (I even create my own patterns), gardening, and women’s soccer."

If you could have one superpower, what would it be? "Shape-shifting"

If you could time travel, what period would you go to? "1790s—it was a more peaceful time in our history but some of the big people of history were still alive."

What is one of your fondest memories? "Growing up, I would spend a week in Houghton Lake every summer with my family and extended family. I would slide down the metal slide that went into the lake for hours on end, and on the last day, I would always have blueberry pancakes at the tiny diner we stopped at."
