Friends of the Library

The Friends are people like you — members of the community who support the library's goals and services. They advocate for the library and raise community awareness. Through their efforts, the Friends bridge the gap between a good library and recognition as a great library.

Butterfly Garden Plant Exchange

The Friends of the Library are hosting a plant exchange May 30, 9:00 AM-noon, to secure native Michigan butterfly friendly plants from community members and private local gardens for our new Butterfly Garden project being installed behind the library. Please label donations with type and blossom color. The Friends will be offering free milkweed plants, started with donated supplies from Home Depot, during the plant exchange.

Drive around the building, following the book donation signs, to drop off your plant donations. You can view a list of desired plants.
