Mennonite in a little black dress: a memoir of going home by Rhoda Janzen — After some devastating and painful experiences in her own life, Rhoda Janzen returns home. She shares a series of short stories about her Mennonite family and community. The tales were a little disconnected, but I loved hearing about her quirky, but loving mom. In an afterward, Janzen goes into more detail about the specifics of Mennonite culture and beliefs.
