Citizen Kane

(1941)
1215858.jpg Directed, written by, and starring Orson Welles. Technically the most innovative movie ever made. Still looks fresh and striking today.

Singin in the Rain

(1952)
1188183.jpg Starring and co-directed by Gene Kelly. Best musical ever! Cant conceive as to how it could be improved.

Yankee Doodle Dandy

(1942)
1278478.jpg Wonderful music. Great period feeling, and James Cagneys performance is superb! He was born to play this role!

The Producers

(1968)
1255417.jpg Outrageous comedy! Mel Brooks script and direction are outstanding. The subject matter is absolutely unique (to say the least!). Just to look at Zero Mostel is to laugh!

Patton

(1970)
1194102.jpg George C. Scotts performance is one of the best ever. (Some critics say the best in the sound era.) He makes you understand Patton, an extremely complicated man. Every time you see it, you can see something new in Scotts performance.
