Lit Lab Productions

Take literature and literacy to the next level at this Lit Lab Production!  Enjoy fascinating, creative stories and build literacy skills and reading competency through reading, talking, writing, singing and playing. Literacy skills are essential to a child's development and understanding of all aspects of the world, and we want to provide an environment that helps children develop these skills while having FUN!  All families will receive a Lit Lab Kit with programming supplies, a book to add to your home library, and take home tips for easy everyday literacy ideas.

For caregivers and children aged 4-9.  All activities and giveaways while supplies last.

Registration is required.

  • Please register one family member aged 4-9 for the program. One kit per family. If you include additional family members aged 4-9 in the note field when registering we may be able to provide supplies for each child, while supplies last.
  • One week prior to the program, registered participants will receive an email with instructions for picking up program supplies and attending the virtual program via Zoom.

Program Librarian

Extremely unsatisfied: during restriction of pandemic, library is not extended cards automatically, were not able to register my daughter online for the program. When called, was on hold and transferred for about 7 minutes eventually when reached a person, was told that program is full, registration opened 16 minutes earlier...
Why just simply not to extend cards automatically???

Hi Yulia
We apologize for the frustration in registering for the Lit Lab program. Starting in March we have automatically extended the expiration date for all cards so patrons could continue to use library resources during the pandemic. In November, we started to require cards be renewed, and sent multiple reminders to the affected accounts. Library cards are set to expire every 3 years so that we can verify residency and update card privileges. It's unfortunate that your daughter's card was not renewed in time to register for this program, but we frequently see cancelations so keep watch--a spot may open up. If you still need to renew your cards, please contact our Circulation Services department at 734-397-0999.
