How to sign up both of my boys up for this event? Do this message consider as sign up?

Thank you for your question.  Registration has not begun yet for the LEGOs® in SPACE! Building Contest (and, sorry, comments on a library web page do not count as signing up for a program).

Registration for the contest will begin on December 20.  You will be able to sign up your children individually with their library card numbers through our web site on the above date when a registration link that will go live on this page.  (Individuals signing up must already have a library card in CPL's computer system.)  Of course, your boys can start brainstorming and building their LEGO® creations now!

This is so exciting! I'll show my boys later today. Is there a cost to participate?

Thank you for your time in replying to my question.

Thank you for your question.  There is no cost required to participate in the contest.

Regarding the size of the building "Your creation may not be larger than 2’ x 2’ x 2’", are you sure about not large than 2x2x2 inch ?

Thank you for your comment.  A single prime mark indicates feet, while a double prime mark indicates inches.  Thus, 2' x 2' x 2' indicates 2 feet by 2 feet by 2 feet.  To show inches, we would have used a double prime mark, 2" x 2" x 2".  We are sure of our requirements as no more than 2 feet per physical dimension (height, width, depth) for the contest.
