Oldies, but Goodies: Backyard Games

Join us for some old-fashioned backyard games! We'll be behind the library (weather permitting) so kids of all ages can come have some fun. Should we run into bad weather, we'll still have games in the Community Room, so stop by.

Dance Your Fanny Off

Hey all of you little folk, come to our library and get your dance on! This program is an open dance party for our littlest patrons to get movin' and groovin' with their grownups. This program is designed for new walkers up to 5 years old and is a great way to have some fun!

The Frog Prince Book Discussion

Second through Fourth graders celebrate both Children's Book Week and Michigan Month with a book discussion featuring Jon Scieszka's The Frog Prince, Continued. Scieszka is a Michigan author known for writing humorous stories. Join us to talk about this fabulous fractured fairy tale.

Family Storytime

Family Storytimes begin the week of April 29. These storytimes are designed for children ages 5 and under with a caregiver, and do not require registration. Weekday sessions are held in the Community Room. Saturday sessions are in the Purple Room.

Open Family Storytimes , April 29-June 1:

  • Mondays 10:00-10:30 AM in the Community Room
  • Tuesdays 7:00-7:30 PM in the Community Room
  • Wednesdays 10:00-10:30 AM in the Community Room
  • Thursdays 10:00-10:30 AM in the Community Room
  • Saturdays 10:00-10:30 AM in the Purple Room

NOTE: The library is closed and there will be no storytime on Monday, May 27.

ABC Activity Time

ABC Activity Time will begin April 29. This is an informal session where parents, caregivers, children and babies meet together in a relaxed environment. This drop-in playtime includes sensory activities, puzzles, and matching games for children ages birth to 5, with caregiver. No registration required. Program takes place in the Community Room, unless otherwise noted.
