It's Report Season!

Maybe it's animals. Or maybe it's a state or a country. Maybe it's a biography. Maybe you just need pictures for your display. Whatever it is, Canton Public Library is your one stop spot for all things report related. Here are some nifty databases and online resources you can access here or at home to make researching your report a breeze.

Grzimek's Animal Life Encyclopedia Search the index of this eBook to find that animal you have to write about when all the books are checked out. Search Worldmark Encyclopedia of the Nations the same way for country information. Yes! This will count as a book resource in your bibliography!

SIRS Discoverer and Electric Library Elementary are great general databases that give you the option of searching just for pictures. Both are great to use here in the library!

Biography in Context is a great place to start when you're looking for ideas for a biography report. You can even search by occupation!

And finally, does your teacher require you to use a magazine article? Then you need to check out FirstSearch. You can limit your search to "full text articles" which means that every article will be there in its entirety for you to print from your computer. Yup, even though you printed this from your computer, it still counts as a magazine article!

Now that your report is finished, you can go outside and enjoy that springtime weather that is coming... hopefully sooner than later!
