Home Care and Senior Residences 101

Everyone has expectations about what life will be like as they age, and nobody wants to think about needing care from others. Decisions about long term care are complicated and emotional. This session will help you understand the difference between non-medical home care and home health care and give you tools for vetting services. Also learn about the different types of senior residences (independent, assisted living and nursing home) and how you can vet their care and services.  Being a savvy consumer improves your decision making when choosing a care or housing option that meets your needs so that you can be safe, secure and satisfied. No registration required.
