Join us as we show this summer's hottest new dvd releases right here at the libary! You may bring pillows, snacks, even your own comfy lawn chairs. All showings may earn you the On the scene: Curtains Up badge.

Growing Well Together

Make one change for better health this summer.  Earn your Be Well On the Scene badge by writing the change you plan to make on a green paper leaf (available at the CYS Activity  Center), then turning it in to the blue On the Scene box.  Your leaf will be added to our Tree of Wellness.

Great Outdoors - Library Grounds Scavenger Hunt

Can't make it to a Great Outdoors program? That's ok! Stop by the CYS Command Center and grab a Great Outdoors Scavenger Hunt sheet.  Walk around the outside of the library and find the items on the list, then turn it in for a chance to win a prize!

Name That Sleuth

How well do you know your famous literary detectives? Pick up an activity sheet from the CYS Command Center and have fun matching up the sleuths with the clues given. Don't forget to go online and claim your Sleuth It - On the Scene badge when you're done!

Game On - Puzzle Activitiy

Can't make it to a Game On program?  That's ok, we've got two fun puzzles you can complete any time you're in the library this summer.  Stop by the CYS Command Center and grab a word search, or "match the rule to the game" puzzle sheet.

Around the World Badge Activity

Are you looking for a great way to earn your Around the World Badge? Come in to the Canton Public Library and work on our Around the World Activity Sheets. We have two activity sheets--Name the Landmark is for the Adults and Name the Country Flag is for the kids. Use the books in the J900s and Adult 900's to find the answers and turn your completed sheet in for a chance to win a prize. Prizes will be drawn from correct entries August 16th.

Video Games for Animal Lovers

Animal Lover Scavenger Hunt

Animals have scattered throughout the library! Can you find them all? Follow these instructions:
  1. Obtain an activity log from the CYS Activity Center.
  2. Read each clue and search the library to find a picture of the animal described.
  3. Write down the name and location of each animal you find.
  4. Submit your completed sheet at the Command Center to be entered into a drawing. Don’t forget to claim your Animal Lover: On The Scene badge online, too!
