Sing a Song of Numbers (Tune: "Sing a Song of Sixpence" )
Sing a song of numbers,
Count them one by one.
Sing a song of numbers,
We've only just begun.
One-two-three-four-five-six,
Seven-eight-nine-ten.
When we finish counting them,
We'll start them once again.
Sleeping Time
Down comes the sun
And up comes the moon.
It will be sleeping time soon.
Birds are quiet in their trees.
Cows and horses rest on their knees.
Sleepy children are tucked into beds,
With good night kisses upon their heads.
Some Families
Some families are large. (spread arms out wide)
Some families are small (bring arms close together)
But I love my family (cross arms over chest) best of all!
Song for a Whale (Tune: Take me out to the ball game)
Take me out to the ocean
Take me out to the sea
There goes a starfish and sand dollar,
I'm having such fun,
I've just got to holler
Oh, it's swim, swim, swim underwater
Catch a ride on a whale, don't fear,
For the sea animals are our friends,
Let's give a great big cheer!!
Starfish (Tune: Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star)
Sticky sticky little starfish,
How I wonder what you are,
Beneath the sea so cool and blue
Can you see me as I see you?
Sticky sticky little starfish
Beneath the sea so cool and blue.
Stars
At night I see the twinkling stars
And a great big smiling moon.
My mommy tucks me into bed
And sings a good-night tune.
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear
Teddy bear, teddy bear, turn around.
Teddy bear, teddy bear, touch the ground.
Teddy bear, teddy bear, show your shoe.
Teddy bear, teddy bear, that will do!
Teddy bear, teddy bear, go upstairs.
Teddy bear, teddy bear, say your prayers.
Teddy bear, teddy bear, turn off the light.
Teddy bear, teddy bear, say good-night!
Teddy was his Name-O
There was a boy who had a bear
and Teddy was his name-O
T-E-D-D-Y, T-E-D-D-Y, T-E-D-D-Y
and Teddy was his name-O .
Ten Little Doggies
Ten little doggies went out one day,
To dig in the dirt and play, play, play.
Five were spotted, and five were not,
and at dinnertime they ate a lot!
Ten Little Pigs
Ten little pigs rolled in the mud,
Squishy, squashy, felt so good.
The farmer took one pig out.
Oink, Oink, Oink, the pig did shout.
(Repeat with 9,8,7... end with
"No little pigs rolled in the mud...")
This is a Choo Choo Train
This is a choo choo train (Child becomes a

Now its going back. (Child goes back, etc.)
Now the bell is ringing (child pulls make believe
bell rope)
Now the whistle blows (child holds fist
near mouth and goes "toot, toot")

make train noises)
Everywhere it goes. (stretch out arms)
This Little Cow (Tune: This little piggy)
This little cow eats grass,
This little cow eats hay.
This little cow drinks water.
This little cow runs away.
And this little cow does nothing,
But lie and sleep all day.

To Bed, To Bed
To bed, to bed
To sleep the night away
Up again, up again
To greet a brand new day.
Too Many in the Bed (Sing or Chant)
There were three in the bed (hold up three fingers)
And the little one said
"Roll over, roll over"
So they all rolled over
and one fell out.
There were two in the bed (hold up two fingers)
And the little one said
"Roll over, roll over"
So they all rolled over
and one fell out.
There was one in the bed (hold up pinky)
And the little one said
"Good Night" (place hand to head pretend to be asleep)
Train (Tune: Row, Row, Row Your Boat)
Ride, ride, ride the train
Quickly down the track.
Clickety, clickety, clickety clack
When will you be back?
Train (Tune: The Farmer in the Dell)
The engine chugs along,
The engine chugs along,
Up and down the mountain tracks,
The engine chugs along.
The train goes click, click, click,
The train goes click, click, click,
Straight across the open plain,
The train goes click, click, click!
The whistle goes woo, woo,
The whistle goes woo, woo,
All across the USA,

Down came the apples, M-m-m-m, they were good! (Rub tummy)
Way Up High
Way up high In the winter sky ,
Two little snowflakes caught my eye.
Down to the ground they fell without a sound.
And before very long , It was snowing all around.
