Michigan Legal Help is designed to help those with simple civil matters that cannot afford a lawyer on their own, providing forms and toolkits on a variety of civil matters ranging from family law and housing to consumer protection and expungement.The Michigan Legal Help website is a project of the Solutions on Self Help Task Force.
New Benefits Enrollment Site for Older Adults with Financial Problems
Adults 60 years and older and people with disabilities can contact the Legal Hotline for Seniors and get help over the phone to find out if there are any programs and services that they can apply for that will ease their financial situation (paying for prescriptions, utilities, home improvement services, etc). If you have any questions call 1-800-347-5297 to speak with a benefits counselor.
