Michigan Teaching Fellowship
Governor Jennifer Granholm announced on Friday that the state was awarded a $16.7 million grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation to establish a fellowship for the recruitment of future math and science teachers. The Fellows, who will be announced in spring of 2011, will receive a stipend of $30,000 to complete a master's program and must fulfill a commitment to teach for at least 3 years in an urban school setting.Becoming a Teacher
