Summer Tie Dye Fun!

Do you love swirling pops of color? Have you always wanted to make your own t-shirt? Well, come to our all ages Summer Tie Dye Event on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and have a blast tie dying your own clothes! You must bring your own shirts, socks, canvas bags, pillow cases, etc. that you want to dye. See you there!

MSU Extension Service: All About Soil Tests

Our MSU Extension Service Soil Testing Informational Program will take place Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.  Learn about the positive impacts soil testing can have on your yard and garden and how to go about doing it. Also bring a plant or some seeds for our concurrent program Summer Seed and Plant Exchange! No registration required.

Summer Seed and Plant Exchange

Join us Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM for our Summer Seed and Plant Exchange. If you've got some extra flower or vegetable plants or seeds that just didn't make it into your garden, bring them along and trade them in for something new! Be sure to stay for our concurrent program on Soil Testing presented by MSU. No registration required.

National Book Lovers Day Program

Did you know August 9th is National Book Lovers Day? Join us Friday, August 9 from 2:00-2:45 PM for our Family Book Lovers Day Program. We'll have a great time hearing a story, eating a snack, talking about books, and working on a craft.

Happy Birthday Pigeon Party!

If you love me and my books by Mo Willems, come to my Happy Birthday Pigeon Party. The party goes from 2:00 to 2:45 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2013. You can earn one hour of your community service time and also have fun helping out in the Children's Department. Our next date will be Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 7:00-8:00 PM. We will meet in the Children's Department but we will also be going outdoors.  Please be prompt.

Family Fun Night

Have you found  yourself following rainbows to find pots of gold? Do you have a four-leaf clover tucked in your pocket? Come to our March Family Fun Night, Wednesday, March 20, 2013, from 7:00-8:00 PM. We'll have a green snack, do some fun St. Patty's Day activities, and if luck travels with us--a surprise!
