PCN offers the opportunity for parents to be involved with their child's first school experience. We have educated and dedicated staff members who have a longstanding relationship with the school. Teachers at PCN strive to help students build self awarness and develop positive self concepts, through a variety of play experiences. Opportunities for physical development in both large and small muscle coordiantion, creative expression, both verbal and artisitc and intellectual growth and development.

P-CCS Preschool Programs focus on kindergarten readiness through a play-based curriculum. We have literacy-enriched environments and also provide many opportunities for self-expression in movement and art. We offer an environment that nurtures English language learners. Our teachers are all educated and experienced and many are certified with an early childhood endorsement. We serve over 560 children in 11 classrooms at 5 different locations. We have a limited amount of free programming for eligible 4-year-old children living in the district. We have no full-day childcare.

A national historic landmark in Northville, the Marquis Theatre often features lively renditions of children's classics or popular musicals. Summer acting workshops for children run for two weeks in June, July and August for 7 year olds and for 8-14 year olds. Call for availability. Morning to afternoon and afternoon to evening sessions run for two weeks at a time.

A 12 step program which does not provide crisis intervention, counseling or referrals to hospitals, but does provide referrals to other 12 step programs.

The site where Thomas Edison learned telegraphy, this Grand Truck Railway Station built in 1859, displays railway photos and models. The depot has been restored to its 1900 appearance and also exhibits railroad artifacts of that era. Trolley rides and excursions on Sundays. .

Head teachers- certified Montessori directoresses other staff members include Montessori interns and teachers with early childhood education backgrounds. Field trips are educational and fun in nature with transportation provided by parents. No transportation offered to school.
