September is Responsible Dog Ownership Month! Do you love dogs or own a dog? Here are some easy ways you can be a responsible dog owner that the Progressive Dog Club of Wayne County suggest: commit to providing a loving home for the lifetime of your pet, spay or neuter your pet, keeping your pet healthy, exercising your pet regularly, keep them well-groomed, choose the right collar and get an identification tag, take your dog to obedience training and keep him or her on a leash when out and about. Cesar Millan, dog behaviorist and famed star of the TV show, "The Dog Whisperer" (which is in its final 9th season on the Nat Geo WILD channel) will make an appearance for his "Trust Your Instincts" tour at the Colosseum stage at 9:00 PM on Friday, November 23 at Caesars Windsor. In his seminar, he will share his expertise on how to build a happy and healthy relationship between dog owners and their canine companions. Check out Cesar's books we have in the pet collection!
