Baby Storytime
Designed for babies up to 18 months with a caregiver, these storytimes feature simple stories, songs, and fingerplays. These sessions are held in the Purple Room. We are now offering two sessions for Baby Storytime, please register online for one timeslot. Session #1 is held Tuesday mornings at 10:00 AM, Session #2 is held Thursday afternoons at 1:00 PM. Registration opens December 27.
eReader Users Group
Join library staff and other eReader users as we share eBook tips and tricks in an informal environment. Group will meet Thursday, November 15th from 7:00-8:00 PM in Meeting Room A.eReader Basics

Family Storytime Halloween Party
Kids age five and under, with a caregiver, are invited to hear Halloween stories, eat snacks, make a craft, and trick-or-treat around the library. Program will take place in the Community Room Wednesday, October 31st at 10:00 AM.

Movie and a Craft Be a Detective
Children ages 2 to 5 years old and their caregivers are invited to join us in the Community Room on Wednesday, August 8th. We'll be watching Caillou solve mysteries and then make a craft to use when we explore our own world.Wednesday, August 8th 10:00 AM in the Community Room.
Movie and Craft Olympics edition
In honor of the Olympics, chidren ages 2 to 5 and the their caregivers are invited to join us in the Community Room to watch a short sports themed movie and make a craft.Program Date: Wednesday, July 18 at 10:00 AM in the Community Room
Make Your Own Ice Cream
Did you know that July is National Ice Cream month? Celebrate here at the library on Monday July 23 by making your own ice cream. Kids going into grades 1st through 4th and their caregivers are welcome join us. Please register for one time slot, beginning Tuesday, June 26th. Rain location will be in the Community Room. Program times are as follows:
Family Storytime Picnic
Families with children ages five and under are invited to bring their lunch and enjoy a storytime outside behind the library. All storytimes will be at Noon. Rain location will be in the Community Room. Program Dates:
Very Hungry Caterpillar Fun
On Saturday, May 26th at 2:00PM in the Community Room, families with children ages 2 to 5 are invited to join us for a program filled with activities focused on the well loved children's book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We will hear the story, make a craft and even eat like the caterpillar in the story. Registration is required and begins on Thursday April 26th at 9:00 AM.

Living Green in Southeast Michigan
To celebrate Earth Week, we have invited Granton Brooks, the communications specialist from SEMCOG to share the many earth-friendly projects supported by SEMCOG in his Living Green in Southeast Michigan program. Did you know that they declare Ozone Action Days for our region or that they sponsor the Michigan Rideshare program or the studies of water run-off? SEMCOG impacts our community in many ways. Come see how they can help your earth-friendly everyday life on Monday, April 23 at 7:00 PM.
