The American Psychological Association Committee on Aging put together a useful brochure to assist in developing an effective plan to secure a healthy, happy, and financially sound old age. Their brochure, Life Plan For The Life Span, begins by checking your attitude and understanding about your aging process by asking important questions.

Investing 101 with Rick Bloom

The Social Security office recently launched a national campaign "Retire Online. It's So Easy!" This campaign features a new online retirement application that can be completed in as little as 15 minutes. The application is available online and can easily be completed at any of our library computers.

Growing Old in America
A recently released study conducted by the Pew Research Center revealed getting old isn't as bad as we think it is, nor is it all it's cracked up to be... Perhaps not surprising is the "... sizable gap between the expectations that young and middle-aged adults have about old age and the actual experiences reported by older Americans themselves."

Retire Online. It's So Easy!
The Social Security office has launched a new online service. Individuals preparing to retire can now complete the new online retirement application in as little as 15 minutes. The application is available online at the Social Security's website. It can easily be completed at any of our library computers.

Have you read "The Number"?
