Parents,If you have a college-bound high school student this may be the workshop for you. Huntington Learning Center has a free 30-40 minute parent workshop on the College Entrance/Application process and how you can help your child with the ACT/SAT exam. Chicks 4 Charity offer Scholarship Opportunity
Canton's Woman’s Life Society Chapter 827, Chicks 4 Charity, is currently offering scholarships totaling $2000 for both full ($1,000) and part time ($500) college students. Applicants must reside in Canton, Plymouth, Belleville or Westland and be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year accredited Michigan college, university or trade school in the fall of 2011. Key to Your Success College & Career Night
CANTON, MI — More than 20 colleges, institutes and specialty training schools are participating in the second annual Key to Your Success Open House sponsored by the Canton Public Library on Monday, May 3, 6:30-8:00PM at the Summit on the Park ballroom.
High school students and adults looking for retraining or a new career can gather information from traditional 4-year Michigan colleges, 2-year community colleges and specialty training programs for careers in health services, business, cosmetology, media arts, technology, the military and more. Admissions associates from each school will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
Help! How Do I Pay For College?
Learn about financial aid options, the FAFSA form, scholarships, the MET program and more at this program designed to help you put together a plan for funding your college costs. Judy Benfield Tatum, Financial Ad Director at U of M-Dearborn, a representative from the Michigan Educational Trust and Joan Noricks from the Canton Community Foundation will be at the library on October 5, 6:00-8:00PM to guide you and answer your questions. Registration is required.
