In a recent article in The Guardian, scientists warn that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) substantially underestimated the severity of global warming over the rest of the century in their most recent report on climate change. In reponse, former US vice-president Al Gore called for a globally coordinated stimulus to tackle climate change.
