The Canton Public Library is celebrating Star Wars Day. All ages are invited to stop by the Purple Room on Saturday, May 4 between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM to watch the cartoon series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and create a 3D papercraft of a Star Wars character. The cartoon will start at 1:00 PM, but feel free to come in anytime after 12:00 PM to make your craft. May the fourth be with you!

The Star Wars craft book by Bonnie Burton — Star Wars fans, get ready! This book contains a Millennium Falcon-full of awesome crafty projects. Star Wars maven Bonnie Burton is back with instructions to make your own Wookiee sock puppet, AT-AT herb garden, R2-D2 crochet beanie, Jabba the Hutt body pillow, and a ton of other way cool projects. Many of the projects are easier than bulls-eying womp rats, while others may require you to use the force (or perhaps have a helping hand from a parent or Jedi).
