Canton Senior Book Discussion: June 27, 2013

Canton Seniors Book Group will meet on Thursday, June 27 at 2:00-3:00 PM in Canton Public Library's Group Study Room A. We will be discussing Michael Pollan's The Omnivore's Dilemma. The discussion book is distributed at the group's meeting or request a copy at the Adult Help Desk.

Remember Linda Greenlaw, the highly acclaimed sword boat captain of the commercial fishing boat the “Hannah Boden?” She was touted in the book “The Perfect Storm,” by Sebastian Junger as being one of the best captains in the sword fishing industry, surviving the disastrous North Atlantic storm of 1991 that capsized her sister ship the “Andrea Gail”.
