March 17th is just around the corner, my friends; and if you haven't had the chance to chase a rainbow, find a pot of gold, hang out with a leprechaun, or grow a garden of four leaf clovers, you can still read about them in our fun St. Patrick's Day themed books. If you're feeling lucky, try being crafty and make your own clovers or leprechauns out of paper, cardboard, or cookies. After all, a nice warm sugar cookie clover decorated with fine green sprinkles is always a winner! Enjoy the day! May the luck of the Irish be with you!

Well, we may have gotten buckets of snow dumped on us but that doesn't mean our creative juices have to be frozen up too. Instead, let your creativity thaw out and have fun creating snow poems, cut out and decorate snowflakes, or build a snowman (or a snowcat) in your front yard. The possiblities are endless. Have fun!

Hi Everyone! Be sure to check out this article from the Canton Patch. The very lucky students of Field Elementary got a visit from Detroit Red Wing Nicklas Lindstrom. He spent some time talking to them about exercise, proper eating, and being healthy. Also, be sure to check out our hockey books… it's a great sport that will definitely keep you physically fit. Enjoy!

Let's all heave a sigh of relief as Super Bowl 2011 is officially over! Now, I just watch the game for the commercials, and I am sure I am not the only one, but for those of you out there who watched the game because it was a football game, well, congrats to the Green Bay Packers! The game was a bit of a nailbiter, but I have to say, I am pleased with the outcome. For those of you who rooted for the Steelers, my condolences. Here's looking forward to Super Bowl 46!
