This Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 2-5, the 32nd Annual Detroit Jazz Festival will "Bring you the World" celebrating jazz's influence on the world and the world's influence on jazz. Artists from Japan, West Africa, Israel, England, The Netherlands, Brazil and a diverse collection of Detroit-based talent will perform. It's not ALL jazz, however, as gospel, latin, blues, funk and big band sounds will eminate throughout downtown Detroit. There will also be fireworks on Saturday night.
