Thank you for your inquiry. The Library has no plans to start a blu ray collection at this time. According to a recent Harris Poll only about 7% of U.S. households currently own a blu ray player. Because of recent cuts to the Library materials budget, the cost of maintaining a dual collection of both standard dvd and blu ray would not be economically feasible at this time.
