Fiction and nonfiction titles you can check out for 10 days using your CPL card. After downloading, you can transfer WMA titles to compatible players. MP3 titles are compatible with iPods and nearly all other players; they can also be downloaded straight to web-connected devices.

iPod users need to download OverDrive Media Console (v3.2 or higher) and use iTunes v7.6.2.9 or higher.

Magic Tree House Goes Digital!

If you can't find the Magic Tree House book you are dying to read in the Series aisle here at the library, you can now read it in electronic format. Check out any of the 43 titles now available in the United States and Canada wherever Random House e-books are sold. A fun-filled Magic Tree House website is also a great place to visit online this summer.
FYI - Over 70 million copies of the books in this beloved have been sold since it was first published in 1992. It has been translated into 31 languages and is sold in 31 countries. Kids, parents, and teachers all know that the adventures of Jack and Annie instill of a love of reading in young readers everywhere.

Kobo eReader Compatible with CPL eBooks!

Yes, another new eBook reader is coming to the market! CPL's eBook supplier, OverDrive, just posted the preliminary testing results for the Kobo eReader and it appears that it is compatible with Adobe EPUB and PDF eBooks downloaded from the library. A full round of testing will come soon. Stay tuned for the full review on the Kobo eReader next month.
