Description 'bubbles' for DVD's

I think it would be so much easier to review current and new DVD's if you had them set up like Netflex. At Netflex you simply hold the cursor over the DVD's title that you're interested in and a 'bubble' pops up with a small overview of the film. It's very handy and it's so much easier then going back and forth to read about a particular film. Thank you.

Thank you for contacting us regarding our catalog search result displays. We offer two similar "bubbles" to that of Netflix - one in our catalog when you click on a Jacket image, and one on the website when you hover over a catalog record link.

New item lists are a specific circumstance in the catalog; most other times the catalog is used to search for specific things rather than browse through lists. From this perspective, adding bubbles has the potential to hurt the speed and ease-of-use of the catalog as a search tool.

Your suggestion will warrant careful consideration. Thanks again for contacting us.

One last thing: Have you considered using RSS to track new materials? It's fast, easy, and automatic.
