Are you an EcoGeek?

One of my favorite writers is John Green, author of two award-winning novels for teens: Looking for Alaska and An Abundance of Katherines. His books are hilarious and heart-rending and are can't-miss fiction for adults as well as teens. Through author Green's online presence, I learned about a seemingly unrelated (but no less compelling) website, run by his brother Hank Green: EcoGeek. As you might guess, EcoGeeks are folks who are concerned about the environment and who want to put their fondness for and knowledge about technology to work to help. The site features interviews with leading EcoGeeks, spotlights emerging and current eco-friendly technologies, and offers answers to common and uncommon questions. All the while, the writing has a friendly and very readable voice, even for those who are more eco- than -geek.
