The author urges readers to abandon seeing the child as a problem to be controlled and instead seek their own "childlikeness" in exploring the thoughtful enjoyment of their (and/or others) children's responsiveness, receptibility and openness to wonder. This is the fruit of the author's three year study "The Child in Law, Religion and Society" and is both inspirational and informative.
