In order to help us gain a better understanding of the many cultures that we are surrounded by on a day to day basis, Hispanic Heritage Month (September) gives us the chance to learn a bit more about the people and culture of the Hispanic peoples.

Literacy and the act of being literate is important all across the globe. Increasing ones ability to read and be a literate and informed individual is an almost universal goal.
