Dr. Seuss' Birthday
Dr. Seuss was born Theodor Seuss Geisel on March 2, 1904 in Springfield, MA. To honor his birthday, many schools and libraries celebrate his works. This March is the 50th anniversary of the publication of The Cat in the Hat. Children ages 4 and 5 years old are invited to attend a birthday party for Dr. Seuss Friday, March 2 from 1:00 to 2:00 at the Canton Public Library. St. Patrick's Day
St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated on March 17 every year. This year it occurs on a Saturday. Many people wear green on this holiday in fear of being pinched if they don’t.
