Quirky and fantastical short stories about the stranger parts of suburban life.  Includes a water buffalo and other mysterious places and things.  A must-read just for the pictures.

Journey into Mohawk Country by van den Bogaert and O'Connor
A graphic novel based on a true story of trade exploration.  Sounds dull - it's not.  Very cool format.

Sea Legs by Alex Shearer
Twin brothers stowaway on their father's cruise ship and spend several weeks sneaking around, enjoying their free trip.  Of course, pirates are also on board this humorous journey.
