The Magical Melting Pot: The All Family Cookbook That Celebrates America's Diversities
by Michelle Greenwald
Wow! This book provides it all! A look into different cultures as well as some great recipes but the title says it allan "All Family Cookbook"parents and children can learn together! A Mediterranean Odyssey
presented by Putumayo World Music
I chose this CD as a summer reading program choice and would have never expected to enjoy it but I found myself dancing and humming along to the beat. A great sampling of music from Mediterranean countries. A Walk in the Woods
by Bill Bryson
Two WordsLoved It! This was the version not read by the author but it was GREAT! Women, especially non-adventurous ones (like me), might not be drawn to this but Bill Bryson's adventures had me wanting to hike the Appalachian Trail! Informative and oh so funny at the same time! Take Big Bites
by Linda Ellerbee
I really enjoyed Linda's adventures around the world. Made me feel like I was right there experiencing different people and places over the years right there with her. Her writing and attitude is refreshing and fun! Also provides you with some interesting recipes. Ultimate Michigan Adventures
by Gary W. Barfknecht
Chose this title because our family vacation this year was a trip to Mackinac Island and the U.P. What a fun book! Filled with all sorts of things to do all over Michigan. Makes you want to travel to MI cities to try things you might never had considered! Maybe next year I'll be taking a glider ride!
