We hiked through the woods and picked up Hurricaine Katrina debris. We also went out to Deer Island, one of the barrier islands in the Gulf, to pick up trash that had washed up onto the beach from the mainland. Overall, it was a wonderful 5 days spent helping the environment and the community of Ocean Springs and Biloxi, MS to get back on their feet after the hurricaine, even though it was 5 years ago.
