In the magazine I read, I found an interesting article that talked about how every now and then you should change your running location to a more challenging terrain, especially one with more hills and nature instead of pavement. To change up your routine, it lists different exercises that you can do during your run. They range from one-legged squats to bicycle kicks. This is such an amazing magazine!

The empathy exams: essays by Leslie Jamison — Read this collection of essays on empathy. They started out weird, but once I got used to the writing style, they were fascinating. One of my favorite essays was about the Barkley Marathons, but she covered a wide range of topics, from jail and incarceration to poverty tourism to pain.

This book is related to being well because it's about a boy named Steven whose little brother has cancer. The book is largely about the little brother's treatment in order to get better.
